Childhood Imms

From Summer 2016 the practice has implemented the new childhood immunisation programme.

Details of the immunisations given are:

When to Immunise Disease Protected Against Vaccinations Given
2 Months Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis, Polio & Haemophilius Influenzae (Hib). Pneumococcal Infection. Rotavirus, Meningitis B 3 Injections & 1 oral
3 Months Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis, Polio & Haemophilius Influenzae (Hib). Rotavirus 1 Injection & 1 oral
4 Months Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis, Polio & Haemophilius Influenzae (Hib). Pneumococcal infection, Meningitis B 3 Injections
1 Year Haemophilius Influenzae ( Hib) & Meningitis C, Measles, Mumps & Rubella (MMR), Pneumococcal Infection, Meningitis B 4 Injections
Pre-school (from 3 years 4 months) Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis and Polio, Measles, Mumps & Rubella (MMR) 2 Injections

Important Update Regarding Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR)

It is important that patients have 2 MMR vaccinations. If you were born after 01.01.1970 and have not had 2 vaccinations an appointment can be made with our Practice Nurse.

If you or your child are over 5 years and have not had 2 MMR vaccinations an appointment can be made with our Practice Nurse.

If you are unsure, our reception staff should be able to check your MMR immunisation details in your medical records. Patient Access users can also view their immunisation records on-line.
