Opening hours

Practice Opening Times

The surgery is open 8.00am - 6.00pm, Monday to Friday (except for Bank Holidays).

We are also open 6.30pm - 8.00pm Tuesday and Thursday for patients with GP appointments. Please note the practice is not open for collection of prescriptions, reports etc during this time.

Patients with evening appointments will need to use the buzzer system next to the front door to gain entry.

Telephone Access During Practice Opening Times

The main practice telephone number (0191) 2665246 is available 8.00am - 1.00pm and 2.00pm - 6.00pm, Monday to Friday (except for Bank Holidays).

Please note that between 1.00pm - 2.00pm calls are answered with a telephone answer machine message. A mobile telephone number will be given for patients to use for calls which cannot wait until the practice reopens at 2.00pm

Patients with evening appointments (6.30pm - 8.00pm Tuesday and Thursday) who need to contact the practice should ring 07877 345694.

Telephone Access When the Practice is Closed

From 6.00pm - 8.00am, every weekday and 6.00pm to 8.00am, Friday to Monday calls are answered with a telephone answer machine message. Patients who need to see a doctor urgently outside of normal surgery opening hours will be directed to call 0300 123 4343.
